Genre Description Example FPS These games are in first person view and you shoot things they get boring very fast and are normally full of a very childish community.   Titan fall A match of titan fall will have a few what the hell just happened moments. Moments where you will say out loud wth just happened it might be when you kill a ton of AI units with your titan or when you jump on the back of a titan and shoot it to bits while its walking around killing your team mates there’s a lot of free running and jumping around to get places. So if you’re a sniper you can climb up a  building and then start to shoot people without them knowing where you are. There is a campaign but its online and even if you win the campaign you will still lose if your meant to. RTS Is a sub-genre of strategy video games which does not progress in turns. In an RTS, as in other war-games the player moves his units and builds his structures under their control to secure areas of the map and/or destroy their opponents' assets.    Age-of-mythology It’s a RTS that you can play as 3 different races and within each race there are 4 different gods you can start with which is a really cool Idea so at 1 first you get the chose to either be the Greeks Egyptians or Norse then you get to choose the god that you want from The Greek Major Gods that are Zeus Poseidon and Hades. The Egyptian Major Gods are Ra Isis and Set and then The Norse Major Gods are Odin Thor and Loki like most RTS you have to get recourses to get things like upgrade units or buildings. When you have the right buildings and the right amount of resources  you can level up into a new age so not only do you get more buildings and able to train for units with new upgrades, you also get to choose a minor god that will make it so you can train a different myth unit but also get a new god power that let you do some amazing things like make it rain meteors to growing some tree. MMO An MMO is an online game where you play  with other people it can cover a lot of genre like FPS, RPG etc.  City of hero’s Is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game based on the superheroes  developed by Cryptic Studios and published by NC soft. You have to make a character at first you have to chose your primaries out of  Blaster Controller Defender Peace bringer Scrapper Tanker War shade and within the classes you have to chose  your Primary Power Sets as a blaster they are Archery Assault Rifle Electrical Blast Energy Blast Fire Blast Ice Blast Psychic Blast Radiation Blast Sonic Attack. Then you get to choose your seconded power set things like melee or buffs or cc then you get to make how your character looks like there loads of way you can make it look after you have done with that you can then go out and kill mobs and level up. sports A game where you simulate playing a sport game little kids play these a lot because there are simple and easy. Fifa   Fifa is a series of football  simulator games published by EA Sports where you go against other teams. As a team you have to chose and make a team you want good for playing with your mate on a big TV. Cow clicker A game where you normally play somewhere like Facebook where you click things and then wait so time before you get the reward it is normally easy to pay real money to speed things up.                                       Farmville A game where you build a farm on Facebook and invite all your friends to see it and then they will get you to buy things with really money by speeding things up.  Puzzle A game where you must work puzzles out by jumping picking things up and by clicking things or by using unique feathers. Portal  Is a first-person puzzle-platform game made by Valve. Where you have to do puzzles using portals to get to places and break the laws of physics with a funny story that make you remember it even after 6 -7 years. platform A game where you have to get from a to b by jumping run and dodging objects can be played on mobile phones. Mario A game where you have to save princess peach for the dreaded bowser by jumping on goombas eat mushroom like an addict and smashing your head on floating brick blocks to get coins to increase your score. Once you get 100 coins you get a free life for in case you die it will bring you back to life.  You have to get to the end of the level of hard jump dodging enemy's once you get to the end of the world you will fight bowsers in a castle only to fine out that your beloved peach is in another castle. Sandbox A game where you can go anywhere and do whatever you like they are normally no story but there are plenty of things  to do i.e. building crafting. Mine   Craft Mine Craft is a sandbox made by  Notch and later Mojan. It was  released for the PC in 2009 it is a game where you start out in a randomly generated world where you start out with nothing. The first thing you do is walk up to a tree and punch it till your knuckles are bloody and a wood block drops you can then craft with it to make a crafting bench  so that you can craft more complex stuff like picks axes hoes you can spend hours running around mining or just building up a house and fight monster to stop them blowing up your house. Fighter A fighter game is where you mash buttons to do combos to beat your opponent on the other side. Soul calibur Has a Story mode, Arcade mode, Training mode in the story mode where you go through a story as a character that the game has chose for you and you have to fight the people for the story. The story it self isn't that good it is mostly just pressing buttons to beat the crap out of the other guy in a out of 3 match. The arcade mode is where you chose a character to fight through a bunch of people till you make it to the boss which is the most cheating AI iv ever seen he changes 3 times during the fight to different weapons and styles so if you have a good start he will become your counter say your a fast guy he will become someone with long range so you cant get near him. Training mode is just where you go against a AI that cant die and doesn't attack so you can learn some combos .  Horror A horror is where the game is trying to scare the player and make them feel un-nerved. Outlast This is a first-person survival horror game set in an asylum. The main character can't do combat except for some scripted events where he pushes enemies away. To get through the environment the character is able to climb to ledges jump over low walls and such crawl and slide in narrow gaps. Except for jumping enemies can't do any of these things, which gives the player an advantage.
